This fellow was selling vintage clothing at the Marché aux Puces—and he dressed the part too. (We asked him if his vest was part of an old band uniform. Non. Or maybe part of a military uniform? Non. Finally he told us that he'd made it himself—out of old dish towels!)
He had some fabulous old clothes too. Can't imagine where I'd ever wear any of these, but still . . .
The shop’s name wasn’t Baguette Magique by any chance, was it? Because, considering some of the imagery up there, one might consider an appropriate answer to the question of where one might wear one (or more) of those dresses to be: “There’s no place like home.”
