This became my new favorite free Paris museum when I visited it for the first time last September. I went back recently, had a lovely al fresco lunch there, and haven't changed my opinion.
I had just been reading some Diane di Prima poems so when I saw this image it looked like eyeball poetry to me. Kind of like:
Geometric stained glass moon Softly drifting concentric architrave Faint in a cerulean blue-noon sky Art nouveau, no, More like steam-punk hypo Waiting down there needle sharp To pierce a convex POP Spots glare like flares Foreshadowing Stars or sun too soon
