Stylin'

These girls were all dolled up for the
Cherry Blossom Festival at the
Brooklyn Botanic Garden last weekend—
although I think the kids who dress

in Harajuku style like this do it every day.

  1. Ah, Harajuku girls. Actually the link to the left was just a little out of the Harajuku area (Cherry Flower Day Festival [Körsbärsblommans Dag] in Kungsträdgården in central Stockholm). To go with a blue hair theme this one, on the left, is kind of nice and Harajukuesque. I like the colors here. For Harajuku this is a little low key but nice.

But really that image you captured goes beyond fashion into artwork. Yours, hands down, takes the prize.

  2. I'm not sure that I understand any of this fashion statement, but it certainly makes a great photo op. Well done.

    Nice shot Alexa!

  4. That is an eclectic outfit I think – the sunbrella, the tie and top look Japanese. To my eyes, the bottom looks a bit like French can-can. But it is pretty and very spring.

  5. That is quite a dramatic outfit. A great mix of quirky style and taste.
