Place Vendôme

My first thought when I stepped into this
square one night last year was, "where is everyone?"
Then I realized I should enjoy the solitude while it lasts.
Once the Ritz Hotel completes its 10-year,
$250 million renovation in spring of next year, this
will no longer look like a pedestrian mall.

    There will be more folks, for sure, but I was always surprised at how relevantly empty PV was. The Ritz is beautiful from the outside...never went in.... Love the golden photo.
