ABC Wednesday—V is for "vole"


This one up in Alaska had to watch out for
all kinds of predators—including raccoons, owls,
 hawks, coyotes, snakes, foxes, dogs, and cats.
But apparently it knew it had nothing to
fear from my daughter Katie's friend Amelia.

    So that's what a vole looks like. I had never heard of these until a few years ago when an English friend mentioned them. Cute little guy.

    What if that vole had a Resident Assistant? I mean, what would Amelia be likely to hear if it were to be paged?
