The Weekend in Black and White


I'm headed south today to ring in
the new year far away from the crowds
and cold of Times Square.  There will be friends
and family and sunshine and—who knows?—
maybe even drinks with little umbrellas.

    Great b&w image of this twin engine, turbo prop airplane just turning onto the active runway getting ready to take off on an adventure. From your photo I can just about smell the fuel and feel the vibration. Happy New Year, Alexa.
