Place Vendôme

My first thought when I stepped into this
square one night last year was, "where is everyone?"
Then I realized I should enjoy the solitude while it lasts.
Once the Ritz Hotel completes its 10-year,
$250 million renovation in spring of next year, this
will no longer look like a pedestrian mall.

Rockefeller Center

We're still hanging around Rockefeller Center,
because even though I showed you that
tree last Thursday, there's plenty more to see—
seriously, how do they manage to wrap
every branch of those trees in blue lights?
