I snapped this from a bus as I was riding through Harlem early one morning. This building has lost some of its original architectural details (the boarded-up rectangular window tops used to be filled with stained glass), but I love the little terrace and the turret. Wouldn't it be nice to see it brought back to its former glory? [It's Ruby Tuesday. To see more, go here. And to see more of Our World, go here.] |
My kind of place. And don't these 'just quick' shots turn out so well sometimes?
ReplyDeletethe architecture is beautiful...would definitely be great to see it taken care of!
ReplyDeleteYes, to see it refurbished would be grand!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cantilevered turret! Excellent image and perfect for a Ruby Tuesday. Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly would be grand to see it in its former glory.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color in the morning light…and such grand architecture.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and I would love to explore the interior. There are so many buildings which we could not afford to build today, nor could we find the skilled craftsmen to create, that are falling into ruin.
ReplyDeleteGreat blue-sky shot!
