You're right about the insensitivity to beauty...painting over, etc. I like this knocker. I bought an iron knocker last summer iin St. Cirq-Lapopie near Cahors. An old iron key.
ReplyDeleteFabulous metalwork.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautifully designed one.
ReplyDeleteHappy ABCW!
I probably photographed more doors than I did landmarks in Paris. Nice intricate details .. and something so charming about it.
ReplyDeleteOh, how gorgeous. May I use your photo to pin to my Pinterest site titled Hand-crafted Beauty? I would give you credit.
ReplyDeleteKenju—yes, you may! (And I'll check out your site; it sounds interesting.)
DeleteThat's a good one! I like to photograph doors and knockers, too. And I think Paris would be a great place to do so.
ReplyDeleteThat's on serious knocker!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous door! (and knocker)
ReplyDeleteI liked this knocker and the very idea for 'K' theme!
