inSPIREd Sunday

I'm sure you recognize St. Peter's.
It's not my favorite church in the world, but it's
the biggest I've ever been in, and possibly the most
impressive too. (My favorite part of my first
visit here—almost 40 years ago—was making
the circular climb up inside the dome
to the small balcony at the top.)

    1. Beth—the words in Latin across the façade say "In honor of the prince of apostles, by Paul V Borghese, a Roman, Supreme Pontiff, in the year 1612 and the seventh year of his pontificate."

  2. Question: how is it that you saw St. Peter's 40 years ago when «Louis» knows for a fact that you aren't a day over 29?! :-)

«Louis» posted "Our Lady of the Maytag" in San Francisco.
