ABC Wednesday—G is for "The Three Graces"

This is the window of a pretty good
thrift store in Chelsea.  I love the reference
to Canova's sculpture of the daughters
of Zeus—and paintings by Botticelli, Raphael,
and Rubens— with the addition of
sling-back sandals and black suede pumps.

  1. Very good capture! The Three Graces now have "in" shoes and also like to read, it seems. As the slogan goes/went, "You've come a long way, baby!" ;)

  2. Got to love thrift stores. Mine is a bit more basic, but I do love to browse and find treasures. - Margy
