When I was in Paris, I met Rosemary—whose interesting and informative blog is called Aussie in France. She walked around the Palais Royal gardens with us and had lots of fascinating things to tell us about it (she—lucky girl!—lives in an apartment that overlooks that beautiful space). I considered moving into this boutique so I could live on the PR gardens too. Who needs privacy? [To see more Weekend Reflections, visit James's meme.] |
Lovely! The repeating circles...
ReplyDeleteLove the light and the circles, but still would like my privacy--maybe on a very top floor?
ReplyDeleteCa donne envie d une sieste p etre quand mm pas en vitrine ;o)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Happy Valentine's Day:-)
ReplyDeleteVery rich reflection and beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteWow, great shot with all the circles. What a fun design. Happy valentine's day.
ReplyDeleteFine use of the mirrors to duplicate the lighted circles. Nice.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jean Michel and I can't work out where the shop is so we can visit! It must be on the Montpensier side but I have never noticed a furniture shop. Great photo by the way.
ReplyDeleteThe picture seems to go on forever ... and a beautiful sight it is. I think you can't go wrong in Paris :)

Rosemary: Can't recall which shop it was, but this photo followed the one of the yellow bike in Marc Jacobs' window, so yes—on the Montpensier side. And thanks again!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photography :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shot! Ahhh, this brings back lots of memories!
ReplyDeleteShe is very lucky! With one exception I've stayed in an apartment that overlooks the Palais Royal gardens every time I've gone to Paris. It's pretty cool to look out the window and see the corridors or open the door and be in the garden. I probably wont stay there again because I can't justify the cost. Great memories though. :-)
Very pretty! Those circles do grab the eye and hold it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
James—when I first arrived in Paris long ago I crashed for a while in the homey office of a friend of a friend, overlooking the PR gardens. I had not a clue how lucky I was!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those snow globes!
ReplyDelete& yes, I'd live here too.
