Weekend Reflections

I recently traveled from Virginia to NYC on
the train (where business class is actually
affordable and you don't have to remove your
shoes before you board).  I found this somber
winter reflection just outside Washington, D.C.

    If the old masters had been able to use a lens instead of canvas and instead of oils they could have painted with soft, pure light any one of them would be proud of this riverscape.
