The Weekend in Black and White

A couple of weeks ago I showed you Paris's
Passage du Caire, one of those that still
houses mostly functional, wholesale
kinds of shops—and this is one of them.

    You captured this beautifully. So many of the shops were a bit shabby and yet still so very French.

    I love the multiple layers and those snowmen add a whimsical touch not often associated with Cairo. Although since last year it may not be such a whimsical fantasy.
