ABC Wednesday—Y is for "happy new YEAR!"

Stirring up the collards for the Hoppin' John, a
fine (and delicious!) old Southern New Year's Day

    I had a friend over last for an Indian meal, made by moi, and we watched a Hindi film....

  2. And some Black-Eyed Peas I see. Before I moved to Arkansas I had never heard of the tradition of eating Black-Eyed Peas on New Years. In the past business here would give out cans of Black-Eyed Peas with labels advertising their business.
