ReplyDeletemakes me think of a favorite set of books: The Bounty Trilogy. My high-school library had the version illustrated by Andrew Wyeth’s father: N.C. Wyeth. As a note of possible interest, the son of co-author, James Norman Hall, was the talented cinematographer Conrad Hall.
The story, obviously, has been made into a few movies itself. This one presages Lila's photo by a few decades (78 years). Apparently there is a remake in production designed for contemporary audiences. Mutiny on the Bounty 2014.
