I shot this wonderfully spiky tulip in both full (hot pink) color and black and white. The biggest difference? In the color photo, what you see is . . . the color. But in monochrome, you notice everything else. [To see more monochromes, visit Dragonstar's meme.] |
It's amazing, Alexa. I thought for a moment it was a sea anemone {a very stationary one!}
ReplyDeleteAlexa....I want one...a spiky tulip. I WANT one right now! You've gotta love those unique petals. What a great black and white. Good job :-) genie
ReplyDeleteYes! That's what I love so much about black and white - you see it all! Your tulip rivals my mutant daffodil for complexity, but is rather more neatly arranged.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, kind og shark-tulip?
ReplyDeletePerfect using B&W!
The spiky tulip is a splendid subject for a B&W photo!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE this! the light, the soft textures! Just beautiful.
