Came into this conference room for a meeting the other day, but I had to run back to my desk and grab my camera (my colleagues are used to this by now). That's the 59th Street Bridge out there, which you can see better here. [To see more Sunday Shadows, go here. To see more Sunday Bridges, visit Louis la Vache.] |
Super shot, Alexa. (I often photograph what I eat in restaurants and my companion's dish, too...then I say they can eat. My friends are used to that...!)
ReplyDeleteLove the balancing act with the lines, the contrasting
ReplyDeleteshadows outside with those inside!
Fantastic photo! So glad you ran to get your camera. I do that, too, and I do what Bibi has said, too. Everyone is used to it and takes it in stride. I just about cannot walk out my apartment door without my camera. Thanks to the link of the other photo of the bridge. Cool.
ReplyDeleteOne can always take pictures discretely with a cellphone :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have a little of everything here: shadows, reflections, sky--oh, my!
ReplyDeleteEVERYWHERE SHADOWS
Shadows above and shadows below,
Shadows that blaze and shadows that glow;
Shadows outside and shadows indoors,
Shadows on trees and shadows on floors;
Everywhere shadows calling my name,
Everywhere shadows no one can tame.

Be sure to check his Monday Doorways post...

pretty shadows! & thanks for the link to that awesome rainbow shot. I enjoyed it even more the second time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteLate visiting from Shadow Shot Sunday. Hope you can still visit my shadow entry when you get a chance. Have a good week.
Oh Beautiful pic! What a light, what a view! Yes the Queensboro Bridge. I love it. Once we rented a room on Roosevelt Island with Isa, and twice a day, in the morning and at night, we had to take the aerial tramway. We loved that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shot...glad you had your camera closely. You just never know when you are going to find that perfect image awaiting you. The shadow on the wall is an awesome one, and yes, the bridge is out there. Nice post this week. Happy SSS. genie
