Sky? What sky?

I took this picture of a gray sky through the slats of
the pergola specifically with Skywatch Friday in mind.
Looking at it now, all I can see is the gorgeous wisteria! Oh well.

  1. How gorgeous! I'll happily take your view of the wisteria, Alexa. I can look out my window and see sky anytime. Wisteria, on the other hand...

  2. Ah, the 2011 vintage of the premier cru Chateau Wisteria. Although not at all related to vitis vinifera, the grape-like clusters in your photo, after a minimum of processing and aging (six hours?), then grateful imbibing by my most pleased eyes, have left me in reeling intoxication at their claret-hued etherial beauty.

    Cheers!

  3. Why, it's a sky filtered through wisteria! Lovely!

    SKY DITTY

    A little birdie told me,
    Although I don’t know why,
That if I were to look up,
    Way up into the sky,
    I’d see some wondrous planets,
The moon and sun and stars –
    There before my very eyes
    Blazed Jupiter and Mars!

  4. Hi, TG! I swear, just last night I thought "Where IS Tall Gary anyway?" Good to know you're alive and (I trust) well—and ever in fine syntactical form.
