Shadow Shot Sunday

Back to Notre Dame, where I found lots of lovely
shadows—including this one near the main altar.

  5. My goodness, I'm impressed. The day (10 years ago) when I visited Notre Dame, the interior was so dark it was like stumbling through a cave. No photos for me that day!

    I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
    (With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)

    I had a little shadow
    No bigger than my thumb;
    I took him to the meadow
    And there I gave him rum.

    My drunken little shadow
    Did weave and bob and pitch;
    He stumbled from the meadow
    And fell into a ditch!

  9. This is a fabulous shot of the often-photographed Notre Dame... great shadows, depth of field and interesting background.

    ...and, I might add, I did not see any tourists in your snap. Hope that YOU had a wonderful Mother's Day, too!
