Bklyn Heights

Here in historic (and high-end) Brooklyn Heights
it's quiet enough that the locals walk down the middle
of the street at any time of day.  Try that right over
there across the East River in Manhattan—I dare you.

  2. I love how you captured the hint of the "big city" in the background. How nice to find a quiet street there. And I'm just going to have to say, "and a tree growing in Brooklyn!" :)

  3. J'aime le contraste entre cette rue calme qui fait très petite ville et les grands batiments derrière !!!

  4. Hiy Alexa,

This is the kind of image that makes me love this meme: giving a glimpse of real places with real soul.

  5. Alexa, so many people think of NYC and never know the treasures of the Brooklyn neighborhoods, varied and unique. Wonderful shot... ditto V's comments about the big-city-background
