These kids are SO lucky—and (for the most part) they seem to appreciate the fact that they are here at the Musée d'Orsay with an enthusiastic teacher, learning all about a fabulous Impressionist painting. Wish I'd had this kind of education (and made sure my daughters did). [See more takes on the theme "education" here, at tnchick's meme.] |
this really is wonderful Alexa.
ReplyDelete& How good of you to give to your children what you didn't have as a child. Not everyone does that.
Bravo!
The teacher does look enthusiastic. Orange and enthusiasm are perfect partners!
ReplyDeleteI remember going to the Tower of London as a kid and being ever so envious of children who were there on a school trip. And I feel so privileged to later go to school where such as trips to Stratford to watch a Shakespeare play and to the House of Commons to do such as listen to and watch a debate were part of my education.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the school children in the museums of Paris (and Florence) and would have loved to have had this hands-on education for my children and for me. We went to many concerts but few museums (except MM of Natural History) Lovely shot, Alexa!
ReplyDeleteBises,
