I was in the Time-Warner Center recently (to hear some good music at Jazz at Lincoln Center). It's a great venue, and comes with an above-average view from Columbus Circle over Central Park to the East Side. (BTW, I've also shown you that globe recently.) That backdrop looks like a mirage. Or a matte painting. If the latter what would be the movie title? With those beige and earth tones one could be forgiven for imagining a title like: “Cliff Dwellers of Manhattan.” I mean, there is as much as a kiva right there, below and to the right of the globe, not so different than here. OK, it looks like we are talking about some kind of retro-futuristic movie. So what would we find there amidst the trees? Of course, this.
ReplyDeleteBut really, whatever time period or location, this is an impressive view. Thanks for this one also.
