Lots of lines here, going in all directions—in more ways than one: This is the Fulton Street subway station, newly opened last November after a slight delay (7 years) and a bit of a cost overrun (from a projected $750 million to $1.4 billion). But it's beautiful and clean and you can go to this one hub to catch a train on the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, R, J, or Z line. [To see more of the Thursday Photo Challenge, visit Dale's meme.] |

Just about nothing but lines and such a variety! And from the physical we see to the abstract “train line.” I had to laugh with admiration. Even the line of horizontal light to the right on the wall is made up of vertical lines. I can almost assume the human here is headed for some kind of bar or club later and is mentally practicing pickup lines.
ReplyDeleteLovely lines
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteWow, many lines indeed. Great picture!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot for lines! No matter how hard we tried and 40 years of building or remodeling we always had cost overruns, too. Have a great weekend!
