This is St. Teresa's in Budapest. They've saved some money on hymnals by having the lyrics up on that screen. On the other hand, maybe that cost more than a set of hymnals. Since there was a mass going on when I happened in here, I only took this one photo (w/no sound and no flash, of course). [To see more churches from around the world, go here.] |
It glows! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous glow. i enjoy the altar area. ( :
ReplyDeleteWow, that screen is sorely out of place here. Buy some hymnals!!!
ReplyDeleteAmen! (so to speak)
DeleteI suppose it is practical but I'll never get used to those screens in churches.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful church, though.
Shalom from the Holy Land. :)
Most churches these day project the words to the hymns on a screen. Not only do they avoid having to maintain all those hymnals, but it is easier for the congregation as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place that is!
ReplyDeleteIt's golden! Interesting combination of the old and new with their projection screen. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful setting for worship.
