The Weekend in Black and White

The Citicorp Building,
all decked out for
the holidays, with 12 14-foot stars
suspended in the multi-story atrium overlooking
 Columbus Circle and Central Park.

Fall flowers

A colorful display in front of the

Mandarin Oriental, at Columbus Circle.
You can stay at this centrally located hotel for
mere $1,000 (and change) per night!

ABC Wednesday—V is for "view"

I was in the Time-Warner Center recently

(to hear some good music at Jazz at Lincoln Center).
It's a great venue, and comes with an above-average
view
from Columbus Circle over Central Park to the East Side.
(BTW, I've also shown you that globe recently.)

A room with a view

It's the Appel Room, one of the spaces at
Jazz at Lincoln Center—where the view isn't even
the point, just a bonus to enjoy while you
listen to some wonderful live music.

Skywatch Friday

It was a very sunny but very cold day
in February
when I passed by this 52-story Trump building
at Columbus Circle.  Not crazy about the
"mine is bigger than yours" building looming
over the SW entrance to Central Park—
but the globe is cool, don't you think?

New York City . . .

. . . is getting pretty—we definitely know
how to decorate for the holidays!

(And I hope to show you even more.)
