This little cherub lives in the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in Rome. The church was originally built in the 11th century, then modified by Bernini in the mid-1600s. It's filled with fabulous art—by Rafael, Bernini, and Caravaggio, among others. [Linking back to The Weekend in Black and White and to inSPIREd Sunday.] |
A nice work of art depicted in an artistic way.
