ABC Wednesday—Q is for "quiet"


Shhhh.  This is the library of the Yale Club
in New York.  Mainly for grads (which I am not)—
but I was here with friends as a guest, and our 

charming young host gave us the grand tour.

  3. It’s interesting that you caught a sliver of an exterior view of the 22-story club here. Would you have been surprised then to know that you would spend time in this exclusive domain five years hence? Or is anything ever really surprising in NYC?

    It looks like a comfortable library. You captured the gold-coffered ceiling nicely. I wonder what the person— far table, right—is reading. Those book cases look solid, not amenable for spying on someone in the next aisle.
