Will it last?

Yesterday I showed you some Persian pottery
that's been around for +/- 900 years.
Does anyone think this piece of glass will
still be here in, say, the year 2900?
(For that matter, will anything be here then?)

    oh my goodness that is exquisite. I just love the colors and think it must look beautiful with the sunlight shining through it.

    Truly lovely blue glass ware. The way things are going, it is very doubtful anything will be around then.

    Beautiful blue glass! I think the potential is there to last that long... but the future is always a mystery.
