ABC Wednesday—C is for "cabbage"

You can't tell here, but this cabbage
was enormous. It was growing in the
beautiful (and abundant) kitchen gardens

of the Hacienda Cusin, my new favorite hotel
in the world, in San Pablo del Lago, Ecuador.

  3. I buy the occasional purple cabbage because it looks so beautiful in salads! And it must have some different vitamins thanks to the different colour from the regular ones. I'm sure this specimen would win awards at Ecuador's national agricultural show.

  4. I love this kind of veggie. You see if here, too, though Serbs prefer the classic cabbage in all its forms....sauerkraut, stuffed, salads...

  6. My goodness...that must be quite a large garden to grow a cabbage that size. Looks good. Happy Wednesday!
