Thursday Challenge — "music"

One of the things to love about New York: Here at Lincoln Center,
they film the operas that people pay big bucks to see at the Met, then
show them in the summer in hi-def on this screen—so all of us po'
folks may enjoy as well.  They also showed the first-night performance
of this year's season on this screen (and on another one in Times Square).
Thank you, Met Opera!   [And you can see more "music" here.]

  1. Well, that's a really good idea for us monetarily-deprived!

  2. When I was in college in Atlanta, the Met performed each night for a whole week in May. I was thrilled to be able to attend one or two each year and then on Sunday at the end of the week, a few of the principals sang at the church on Emory's campus (free).

How wonderful to be able to see the performances on a screen in NYC.

  3. Love the windows and the scene. And it's great that they show the performances later so more people have a chance to experience it.
