If only you could hear the bird singing in that tree. It would surely heal and soothe your aching nostalgia. That’s what it does by nature—a Florence Nightingale.
ReplyDeleteI feel intense nostalgia looking at this scene and I have never been there. Apparently there is just something about Florence that causes in people an aching longing.
*sigh* It's a beautiful sight, ma chère ... and I remember having a very lovely gelato there. I hope you get there again soon!
