Skywatch Friday

A glorious southwest Virginia sky—in
of my mother, who was born and
raised there and whose 96th birthday is today.

[To see more skies from around
the world, go here.]

  1. No wonder the years of her first decade were called “The Roaring Twenties.” And she was just getting a start. Although I have never met her I am sure she is a person rare, precious, and sparkling as, oh, I don’t know what. But it must be something as beautiful as that sky.

  2. Beautiful photo of the lovely formations.

  3. Happy belated birthday to your mum, dear Alexa! That's a spectacular sky to celebrate with.

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
