I took this picture of monsieur and his portable piano when I was in Paris in 2014. I took it with me when I went back in 2015, in case I ran into him again. (I didn't, though I was able to give pics to some other people). La prochaine fois, peut-être. [To see more ABC pics, go here.] |
Nope, not here.
ReplyDeleteI have seen street musicians with guitars; one-man bands with drums even; street bands; bagpipers; violinists; flute players; singer-guitarists; but I have never seen a street musician toting around a custom-made mini-piano. That is so impressive. I have to wish him well retrospectively.
In 1984 i was in Paris...and wondered about all the musicians we met there

Must to tough having to tote a piano around. He would have an easier time if he played the piccolo or autoharp.
ReplyDeleteAw...cute. I still have a couple of photos of a man I caught feeding the pigeons here. I believe I put it on my blog. I carried them with me every morning for a while, but haven't seen him. Too cold, I guess. ---glad to see you still put that circumflex on 'peut-être'... ;)

That is, as Roger says above, "That's entertainment!" Too bad you didn't see him again.
