Anyone who's been visiting this blog for any length of time knows that I love NYC's hardworking little tugboats. I spotted this one from my friends' 38th-floor apartment as it helped a barge up the East River, past a hospital on Roosevelt Island. [Linking back to Ruby Tuesday and Our World Tuesday.] |
This got me wondering what the life of a tugboat captain might be like. From what I could find, it could be, by association, downright presidential (with his first wife to boot! And note the correct pronunciation before he got so hoity-toity).
ReplyDeleteHello, cool capture of the tugboat working hard. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteGreat image. I love the snow on the island beyond the tug and barge. Very nicely captured. Have a blessed Ruby Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteIf this photo was shot from the 38th floor, you must have a long lens. Great photo with the snow and river.
ReplyDeletegood shot
ReplyDeletehave a nice Tuesday
much love...
I missed this yesterday. I just love it. The perspective from the 38th floor with your lens is just brilliant.
