Some claim it was a pomegranate that got Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden. Such a sensual fruit—I wouldn't be surprised. After I cut into this one, I decided it deserved a close-up. (And then I used it for this. Yum.) [Linking back to Ruby Tuesday and Macro Monday.] |
Is that as good as it looks? If you keep this up I will have to dress more appropriately when I stop by. If for no other reason than to keep drool off my keyboard.
ReplyDeleteI was fond once of pomegranates as an ingredient of this.
Pomegranates in the Garden of Eden? Why not? There is a lot to be said for pomegranates.
Oh, there's something in the air today. I found a place that sells fresh pomegranate seeds here and bought some for the second time. No more red fingers. I love them. Here in Belgrade it's rare to find a good pomegranate.....they're often pale. In India I saw masses of them, blood, blood red.

ReplyDeleteI am a pomegranate freak! I grew up in California where they were plentiful and I still enjoy them eating them slowly and enjoying each little seed. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteNice capture! I did not grow up with pomegranate but a dear friend had one in her backyard in California.
ReplyDeleteReally great image - you've captured the detail wonderfully. Pomegranate is one of my favourite fruits!
