The Weekend in Black and White

I was on a train, speeding up the Northeast Corridor
(between Washington, D.C. and New York City).
Fortunately, I had my camera in my hand when we
passed by this photogenic—I think—power grid.

  1. Good one, and kind of spooky...ALWAYS have your camera in your hand, ha, ha.

  2. That's quite something! Great patterns against the sky.

  3. That monumental, “looking up” perspective has me in mind of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis. Not as a direct representation but the feeling of it. And the lighting in your photo: neo-industrial-noir.

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
