grand escalier

Looking at the outside of the Cité metro station,
with its original Hector Guimard Art Deco
entranceway, you'd never think that the interior
looks like this.  I've never used an
elevator in the metro, but you can see why
I might be tempted to here.

  1. Very pretty, and for sure it's been renovated like the Saint Michel one. I remember the latter 'back when' in the 60s.

  4. I swear I think I"ve called this Chatelet before, but we all know I'm challenged. And BTW, I HAVE taken the lifts at Abbesses and Chatelet!
