up close and personal

Does anyone else find red flowers very
hard to photograph?  I keep trying, though,
and maybe one of these days I'll capture one just the
way I want it to look.  Meanwhile, here's a little
(about an inch across) bloom from my rescued geranium.

  2. HI Alexa!! Beautiful shot!! Personally, it's yellow flowers I have most trouble with.

  3. All I know to do is keep trying! (My photos of red flowers sometimes blur too.)

  5. That's so lovely! Well done!

I do find red flowers are hard to photograph. The color seems to suffer digital "burnout" sometimes for me. I find I really need to pay attention to the brightness of the surrounding light.

  6. I agree, I have the most trouble with bright pink. What's with that? I try to edit but mine never look "real".
