Our friend Dena got married this past Saturday. She looked gorgeous in a silvery raw silk dress with a purple sash. And on her feet: what you see. I thought she'd taken her shoes off after the ceremony, but she informed me that she had been sans footwear for the entire evening, ceremony and all. Hey, the dress was long, no one knew—and just because you're getting married is no reason to be uncomfortable. Right? [To see more ABC Wednesday, go here.] |

That's an unusual choice here, but maybe not there.

I really love that. The dress looks like it was beautiful. Your header is gorgeous.

I felt like doing that at church Sunday. And I love her dress!

Good for her. I took off my heels half-way through my daughter's wedding. Too uncomfortable!!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Her feet are prettier than any shoes.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter was married by a pond, and her and her bride maid's all were barefooted. The gals ankle deep in water. It was lovely and cool.
30 years ago this month I was a barefoot bride too! & I was just reminiscing about that fact today!
ReplyDeleteI like her way of thinking! It's a good excuse to wear a long dress in my mind.
