Going Sledding

Here in Brooklyn, we made it through the
snowstorm and woke up yesterday to
sunny skies and perfect sledding weather.

Apparently a lot of us had the same idea.
No, I did not join in. The last time—and I
do mean last—I went sledding (right here in
Prospect Park), I literally broke my butt!

[Today is Shadow Shot Sunday. To
see more Sunday shadows, go here.]

  1. No doubt about it, it's time to play in the snow.

  2. Oooch, that would have been a painful end to your sledding career!

  3. That looks like so much fun! I had no idea though that it could be so dangerous! How painful for you to find out the hard way! Great photos!

  5. A little snow here today, too. I don't want snow anymore... Love your sledding photos, and no, I don't go sledding anymore either.

  6. Looks like people were having fun. An "escape" after such bad weather. I don't sled anymore either; I'm not in to wearing a cast :-)

  8. Ouch! I think that you can have more fun watching and taking photos. Those are beautiful! Ad I am glad that you had just enough snow to be in the "fun" category.
