Thursday Challenge—"stairs"

I counted these stairs as I climbed them—there are
386, from the trail we were hiking up to the town of
Corniglia, in the Cinque Terre.  (There is a shuttle bus
that will bring you up from the train station down
there, but somehow that seemed like cheating.)

  3. I think I can, I know I can, I think I can... I could drink as many cioccolate calde as I could squeeze in if I was climbing these regularly. Gorgeous view, Alexa!

  4. Wow! My legs would have been very shaky if I should have gone up or down these stairs. Great shot!

  6. That's a lot of steps -- and a cool photo.

  7. I live on the fifth floor, no elevator. There are 111 steps up and I go up (and down, of course) about four times a day... I call them my step machine. I also think twice if I have everything with me when I go down. That said, somehow these stairs all at once seem more daunting.

  8. I'd love to go and hike in the Cinque Terre. Never been. What a shame! Maybe this autumn...

  11. I'd take the shuttle. That's about 300 steps more than I care to tackle. I admit it I'm a wimp and out of shape. (Lumpy)
