Skywatch Friday

Spent a day in Rome a few years ago with my big bro, David.
Over the course of about 9 hours, we experienced bright sun,
torrential rain, even some good-sized hail! This was the
view over Roma as our train pulled out of the city.

  3. So striking ~ I've had bright sun, torrential rain and golf-ball sized hail here, but I don't recall seeing a sky like this, Alexa.

  4. I was going to write almost exactly the same thing Shell did! We do get some of our most incredible skies in the aftermath of some of our most monumental storms, just like the one you experienced in Rome, but I've yet to see a sky like this one! I'll see Lily Hydgrangea's Double WoW and raise it! :-)

Lucky you, I long to visit Italy (home country of my grandfather) someday!
