Enjoying a plate of oysters in Paris is pretty special, but these oysters also came with a view—they were part of a lunch at one of the restaurants up on the Eiffel Tower. Heading back to reality (i.e., NYC, work, and Lean Cuisine) today. Big sigh.
Oh I"m weak in the knees. BTW when I had oysters in Paris with Peter, it was a new learning experience. Here in the south we eat oysters with crackers and lots of chili sauce and horseradish- not so in Paris. I will say I enjoyed the new Paris oyster experience where you slurp the juice as well and have nothing but a bit of vinegar. Vive la France!
Looks like a fabulous meal! Hope your "good trip vibes" help ease you back into reality.
