abc wednesday —K is for "kir"

My fave thing to drink in Paris—to whoever thought of
adding white wine to creme de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur),
thank you.  This one was enjoyed here:
Chez Prune, just one of the popular places on the Canal St. Martin.
Forty years ago, no one came to this area, since it was the
known hangout of some very shady characters (literally, "les gangsters").
Now, it's been totally taken over by hip young people.

I've enjoyed your snapshots of Paris, and I look forward to your next trip across the "pond"...maybe to Venezia!

  6. Okay, I have been reading about this place for some time and have never been to this part of the Canal. I wish that I had been there to offer a toast to those blue skies! I am hoping for some of those in about 10 days!
