Mellow Yellow Monday: NoLiTa

We New Yorkers just love our cutesy neighborhood names:
SoHo, TriBeCa, DUMBO—and NoLiTa.  I can't really say that I understand
the meaning of these panels, but will guess that the red-on-yellow one 
(and maybe the yellow-on-red one too) is meant to be Jean-Michel Basquiat.

    I am so uninformed and it has just been too long since I was in NY... I did not (do not) know DUMBO and only through your post now know NoLiTa... love the name!
