matching



Here's a house, in Queens, with a matching mailbox.
This neighborhood, near the Whitestone Bridge has
lots of properties like this one.
Personally, I'm not all about the McMansion, but
I love that these homeowners did this.

    I saw a bird house that resembled the McMansion behind it in Ocean City last month. Clever idea and I like it. However, I also share your feelings about the obvious ostentation. Perhaps it's just jealousy? Then again, maybe not ... I really don't think I would even if I could.

    Believe me, Chuck, I'm perfectly happy in my little pre-war apt. in Brooklyn. And if I want to lie in the grass or smell the roses, I'm a block away from Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden—best of both worlds!
