Thursday Challenge—"everyday"

This may not be an "everyday" sight for
many folks, but I have this view
of the Chrysler (my fave NYC) Building
every night on my way home from
work.  And I never take it for granted.

A slice of blue

This is not "big sky" country.  Here, you
get
what you can between the tall buildings
and Con Ed's ubiquitous steam vents.

Skywatch Friday

Happy 1st day of 2016 from

beautiful downtown (well, actually
it's midtown) New York City.

The Weekend in Black and White

We've had some serious fog here in past
weeks, making entire boroughs
disappear from my 24th-floor office
 view—and making  my favorite NYC
 building (almost) invisible too.

The Local Art Scene

There are still plenty of art galleries in Soho
(though there are probably more in
West Chelsea now), but they're kind of picky
about whose art they choose to show.
So plenty of artists sell their work on the street.
Some of it's pretty good and some it . . . well,
I'm no judge really.  But I hope they find some
customers among the many thousands of people
clogging Soho's streets on any given weekend.
