The Weekend in Black and White

I'm sitting in the railway station.
Got a ticket for my destination . . .
I wish I was homeward bound.

  1. Ooh.

This is the reason I had interest in film noir some years ago. Your use of B&W is both dramatic and haunting. There are hints of two or three people but the scene could just as easily be utterly devoid of any human presence outside the cameraperson. A mysterious atmosphere. And that beam of light! It looks like a time lapse lasering all the way from the mid-60s.

Apt song lyrics. I was thinking of “8 Miles High” yesterday.

  2. You have me singing now! Great low key shot, yet with an explosion of light.

  3. Ok, that will be my ear worm for my walk!
