I looked for a plant label for this beauty and couldn't find one. But I could tell by the foliage that's it's a canna cultivar, so I'm going with 'Orange Bengal Tiger'. [Linking back to Mandarin Orange Monday, Macro Monday, and Today's Flowers.]
I love the light through the flower petals. Canna's are a "feel good" plant, (bright and cheerful) especially when grown en masse. I think that the root can be eaten like a sweet potato. Warm regards.
The flower is super, what a great colour it has.
ReplyDeleteEven without being able to see the yellow striped leaves, I so trust your judgement as to be sure you are right.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the fact that they like water could have contributed to their name.
