The flower is super, what a great colour it has.
Even without being able to see the yellow striped leaves, I so trust your judgement as to be sure you are right.I wonder if the fact that they like water could have contributed to their name.
I love the light through the flower petals. Canna's are a "feel good" plant, (bright and cheerful) especially when grown en masse. I think that the root can be eaten like a sweet potato. Warm regards.
